‘We saw US coalition jets transporting terrorists”, said an Iraqi military commander.
This is on top of the plan to put “boots on the ground” to create buffer zones between Russian led coalition force against Islamic State terror group.
BREAKING! Syrian Army Takes Control Over Key Highway Connecting Aleppo and Hama
The Syrian Armed Forces have taken control over a strategically important highway in the north of the country, a military source told RIA Novosti on Wednesday.
The highway is connecting the cities of Aleppo and Al-Salamiyah in the Syrian province of Hama. Moreover, the highway is the main supply route for the Syrian government army in the city of Aleppo.
A final assault to retake Allepo, especially its strategic airbase where US supplies of ISIS, among others, are being dropped is ongoing.
Remember, it was in Allepo where one of the false flag chemical attacks were concocted to frame the Syrian government up to justify US invasion.
Another area where false flag chemical attack was done is in Ghouta.
That single photo with one child running across “dead” children shattered the myth of the “Syrian government is killing its own people through chemical warfare.”
The only problem with Dr. Assad is he’s just too soft in dealing with extremists.
The plan to neutralize ISIS was plotted in Moscow with the help of the legendary Qassem Soleimani, and fall within the Moscow Conference on International Security (MICS) doctrine sealed in mid-April.
“The unspoken secret behind these game-changing proceedings actually terrifies Washington warmongers; it spells out a further frontline of Eurasian integration, in the form of an evolving Eurasian missile shield deployed against Pentagon/NATO ballistic plans.
A precious glimpse of what’s ahead was offered at the Moscow Conference on International Security (MICS) in mid-April.
Here we had the Iranian Defense Minister, Brigadier-General Hussein Dehghan, openly stating that Iran wanted BRICS members China, India, and Russia to jointly oppose NATO’s uncontrolled eastward expansion, and characterizing NATO’s for all practical purposes offensive missile shield as a threat to their collective security.
We also had Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu and Chinese Defense Minister Chang Wanquan emphasizing their military ties are an “overriding priority”; plus Tehran and Moscow stressing they’re strategically in synch in their push towards a new multipolar order.”
How Iranian general plotted out Syrian assault in Moscow
By Laila Bassam and Tom Perry
BEIRUT At a meeting in Moscow in July, a top Iranian general unfurled a map of Syria to explain to his Russian hosts how a series of defeats for President Bashar al-Assad could be turned into victory – with Russia’s help.
Major General Qassem Soleimani’s visit to Moscow was the first step in planning for a Russian military intervention that has reshaped the Syrian war and forged a new Iranian-Russian alliance in support of Assad.
As Russian warplanes bomb rebels from above, the arrival of Iranian special forces for ground operations underscores several months of planning between Assad’s two most important allies, driven by panic at rapid insurgent gains.
Soleimani is the commander of the Quds Force, the elite extra-territorial special forces arm of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, and reports directly to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Senior regional sources say he has already been overseeing ground operations against insurgents in Syria and is now at the heart of planning for the new Russian- and Iranian-backed offensive.
That expands his regional role as the battlefield commander who has also steered the fight in neighboring Iraq by Iranian-backed Shi’ite militia against Islamic State.
His Moscow meeting outlined the deteriorating situation in Syria, where rebel advances toward the coast were posing a danger to the heartland of Assad’s Alawite sect, where Russia maintains its only Mediterranean naval base in Tartous.
In the case of the Russian media, it is estimated that at least 80% of their analysis and point of views are those quoted from independent Western journalists and geopolitical analysts that were purposely ignored by the Cabal Media.
Captured ISIS Leaders in Iraq Confess to Receiving Military and Intelligence Support from the United States
By Fars News Agency Sun Oct 25, 2015 7:8
Spokesman of Iraq’s Kata’ib Hezbollah (Hezbollah Battalions) popular forces Jafar al-Hosseini disclosing that captured ISIL leaders have acknowledged receiving logistical backup and intelligence support from the US.
“As the ISIL commanders captured in Iraqi popular forces’ recent military operations have confessed, the US supports for the terrorist groups are not limited to the dispatch of logistical support,” Al-Hosseini told FNA on Sunday.
He reiterated that the US has provided the ISIL with intelligence about the Iraqi forces’ positions and targets.
“ISIL commanders trusted the US officials who had assured them that the Iraqi forces would not attack Fallujah because the US had urged the Iraqi government to prevent the popular forces from entering Fallujah and raid Beiji instead; hence the terrorists left Fallujah for Beiji to stay on the alert in there,” Al-Hosseini added.
Al-Hosseini had also stated on Wednesday that his forces plan to win back the city of Ramadi only after expelling the American forces from Anbar province.
“Our forces have two operations underway; first seizing Ramadi from ISIL and second keeping away the American forces from Anbar province,” al-Hosseini told FNA.
He underlined that preventing the US forces from getting close to Anbar province will expedite operations for winning back the province, specially after the military operations in Salahuddin province that led to the liberation of the city of Beiji.
Iraqi officials have on different occasions blasted the US and its allies for supplying the ISIL in Syria with arms and ammunition under the pretext of fighting the Takfiri terrorist group.
Earlier this month, the Iraqi army and volunteer forces discovered US-made military hardware and ammunition, including anti-armor missiles, in terrorists’ positions and trenches captured during the operations in the Fallujah region in Al-Anbar province.
The Iraqi forces found a huge volume of advanced TOW-II missiles from the Takfiri terrorists in al-Karama city of Fallujah.
The missiles were brand new and the ISIL had transferred them to Fallujah to use them against the Iraqi army’s armored units.
On October 10, the Iraqi forces discovered US-made military hardware and ammunition from terrorists in Beiji.
“The military hardware and weapons had been airdropped by the US-led warplanes and choppers for the ISIL in the nearby areas of Beiji,” military sources told FNA.
In February, an Iraqi provincial official lashed out at the western countries and their regional allies for supporting Takfiri terrorists in Iraq, revealing that the US airplanes still continue to airdrop weapons and foodstuff for the ISIL terrorists.
“The US planes have dropped weapons for the ISIL terrorists in the areas under ISIL control and even in those areas that have been recently liberated from the ISIL control to encourage the terrorists to return to those places,” Coordinator of Iraqi popular forces Jafar al-Jaberi told FNA.
He noted that eyewitnesses in Al-Havijeh of Kirkuk province had witnessed the US airplanes dropping several suspicious parcels for ISIL terrorists in the province.
“Two coalition planes were also seen above the town of Al-Khas in Diyala and they carried the Takfiri terrorists to the region that has recently been liberated from the ISIL control,” Al-Jaberi said.
Also in February, a senior lawmaker disclosed that Iraq’s army has shot down two British planes as they were carrying weapons for the ISIL terrorists in Al-Anbar province.
“The Iraqi Parliament’s National Security and Defense Committee has access to the photos of both planes that are British and have crashed while they were carrying weapons for the ISIL,” Head of the committee Hakem al-Zameli said.
He said the Iraqi parliament has asked London for explanations in this regard.
The senior Iraqi legislator further unveiled that the government in Baghdad is receiving daily reports from people and security forces in al-Anbar province on numerous flights by the US-led coalition planes that airdrop weapons and supplies for ISIL in terrorist-held areas.
The Iraqi lawmaker further noted the cause of such western aids to the terrorist group, and explained that the US prefers a chaotic situation in Anbar Province which is near the cities of Karbala and Baghdad as it does not want the ISIL crisis to come to an end.
Also in February, a senior Iraqi provincial official lashed out at the western countries and their regional allies for supporting Takfiri terrorists in Iraq, revealing that US and Israeli-made weapons have been discovered from the areas purged of ISIL terrorists.
“We have discovered weapons made in the US, European countries and Israel from the areas liberated from ISIL’s control in Al-Baqdadi region,” the Al-Ahad news website quoted Head of Al-Anbar Provincial Council Khalaf Tarmouz as saying.
He noted that the weapons made by the European countries and Israel were discovered from the terrorists in the Eastern parts of the city of Ramadi.
Meantime, Head of Iraqi Parliament’s National Security and Defense Committee Hakem al-Zameli also disclosed that the anti-ISIL coalition’s planes have dropped weapons and foodstuff for the ISIL in Salahuddin, Al-Anbar and Diyala provinces.
In January, al-Zameli underlined that the coalition is the main cause of ISIL’s survival in Iraq.
“There are proofs and evidence for the US-led coalition’s military aid to ISIL terrorists through air(dropped cargoes),” he told FNA at the time.
He noted that the members of his committee have already proved that the US planes have dropped advanced weaponry, including anti-aircraft weapons, for the ISIL, and that it has set up an investigation committee to probe into the matter.
“The US drops weapons for the ISIL on the excuse of not knowing about the whereabouts of the ISIL positions and it is trying to distort the reality with its allegations.”
He noted that the committee had collected the data and the evidence provided by eyewitnesses, including Iraqi army officers and the popular forces, and said, “These documents are given to the investigation committee … and the necessary measures will be taken to protect the Iraqi airspace.”
Also in January, another senior Iraqi legislator reiterated that the US-led coalition is the main cause of ISIL’s survival in Iraq.
“The international coalition is only an excuse for protecting the ISIL and helping the terrorist group with equipment and weapons,” Jome Divan, who is member of the al-Sadr bloc in the Iraqi parliament, said.
He said the coalition’s support for the ISIL is now evident to everyone, and continued, “The coalition has not targeted ISIL’s main positions in Iraq.”
In Late December, Iraqi Parliamentary Security and Defense Commission MP disclosed that a US plane supplied the ISIL terrorist organization with arms and ammunition in Salahuddin province.
MP Majid al-Gharawi stated that the available information pointed out that US planes are supplying ISIL organization, not only in Salahuddin province, but also other provinces, Iraq TradeLink reported.
He added that the US and the international coalition are “not serious in fighting against the ISIL organization, because they have the technological power to determine the presence of ISIL gunmen and destroy them in one month”.
Gharawi added that “the US is trying to expand the time of the war against the ISIL to get guarantees from the Iraqi government to have its bases in Mosul and Anbar provinces.”
Salahuddin security commission also disclosed that “unknown planes threw arms and ammunition to the ISIL gunmen Southeast of Tikrit city”.
Final March Starts on Kuweires Airbase in Aleppo
Tue Nov 03, 2015 10:56
TEHRAN (FNA) – Thousands of soldiers from the Syrian army, Hezbollah and popular forces, backed up by Russian air force, launched the final phase of a landmark operation towards a strategic airbase Southeast of Aleppo that has been under siege for two years now.
The Syrian army, National Defense Forces (NDF) and Hezbollah fighters backed up by Russian warplanes started the operation early Tuesday morning and have already come almost half a mile closer to the Kuweires airport in a region where advance in every inch has taken days.
The pro-government forces marched on ISIL positions in the region and advanced to the rural district of Sheikh Ahmad after taking full control of the railway crossing. Early reports from the battlefield said tens of Takfiri terrorists have been killed this morning.
The Syrian army and Hezbollah forces are now deployed in a region only 2 kilometers away from the airbase.
According to the source, the pro-government forces are preparing to mop up the rest of Sheikh Ahmad to prepare for a massive offensive on ISIL positions along the Aleppo-Raqqa Highway. Some 80 percent of Sheikh Ahmad – that is seen as a milestone in the Damascus war on terrorist groups in the Northern province of Aleppo – is now under the control of the pro-government forces.
Army sources said the Russian strikers play a very crucial role in the operation.
Commanders of the Syrian Army, popular forces, Hezbollah and Russian Air Force held a meeting in Sheikh Ahmad frontline on Monday to coordinate the last phase of their joint operation for removing the two-year-long ISIL siege on Kuweires airbase, Southeast of Aleppo.
Military sources said last night that the pro-government forces were deployed in most parts of Sheikh Ahmad, just 2,600 meters far farm the Southern gates of the strategic Kuweires airbase.
On Sunday, the pro-government forces won a series of tough clashes with militant groups in the Southern part of Sheikh Ahmad and came closer than 3 kilometers to the strategic Kuweires Airbase.
The joint operations of the Syrian army troops, Hezbollah fighters and NDF that have been underway with the Russian air backup for the last one month have forced the militant groups, specially the ISIL, to withdraw from the Southern parts of Sheikh Ahmad town near the Kuweires airbase.
The sources said that the militant groups have suffered heavy casualties in the latest stage of the pro-government troops’ joint operations Saturday night.
The ISIL Takfiri terrorists have besieged the Kuweires airbase for over 2.5 years now, but the base itself is under the Syrian army’s control.
Hundreds of Syrian forces are under a tight siege at the airbase as a result of the occupation of vast areas surrounding the airport by the terrorists.
The Syrian army’s helicopters supply foodstuff and other needs to the Syrian troops defending the airport.
“Boots on the Ground” Inside Syria? The Pentagon Comes to the Rescue of the “Islamic State” (ISIS)
By Prof Michel Chossudovsky
On October 27, US Defense Secretary Ashton Carter announced that the Pentagon is contemplating “direct action on the ground” in both Iraq and Syria, “in an effort to combat the self-proclaimed Islamic State terrorist group.” (Sputnik, October 27, 2015).
The not so hidden agenda, however, is not “to combat” but rather “to protect and come to the rescue” of the Islamic State terrorist group.
What’s new? Are we witnessing a process of military escalation?
The US and its allies already have boots on ground inside Syria. It’s not official, it’s a so-called “covert operation” which everybody knows about.
The Pentagon together with NATO, Turkey and Israel, et al, have routinely dispatched their military advisers, special forces and intelligence operatives to the Syrian war theater. These foreign forces have operated within rebel ranks from the outset of the war on Syria in March 2011.
While neither Washington nor the mainstream media have “officially” acknowledged their presence inside Syria, it should be understood that these Western special forces have performed routine command functions within the various terrorist groups in liaison with the US-NATO led coalition. In other words, they are largely responsible for coordinating countless ISIS and Al Nusrah terrorist operations against civilians inside Syria on behalf of the US led coalition. Needless to say, they are also supported by the US led air campaign, which theoretically is targeting (rather than “protecting”) the terrorists.
“Responsibility to Protect” (R2P) The Terrorists
In response to Russia’s bombing raids against ISIS, Washington is now contemplating to announce “officially” (what they have been doing for the last four years) their resolve to have boots on the ground in an extended military operation. Needless to say, this operation, if it were to be carried out without the UN Security Council stamp of approval would constitute a violation of international law (Nuremberg).
The US administration is considering the possibility of deploying a small number of ground forces in Syria embedded among Kurdish troops or the “moderate” opposition, The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday, citing US officials.
The US military has also proposed sending a group of combat advisers to the front lines with the Iraqi army, and possibly also with Syrian rebels. This proposal is, nevertheless, qualified by the newspaper as a less likely scenario.
Moreover, the White House is to examine the option of deploying a small squadron of Apache attack helicopters to Iraq to step up the fight against the Islamic State, the newspaper said. The measure will entail deploying several hundred US servicemen to Iraq, according to the daily. Washington heads a coalition that has been conducting airstrikes on ISIL positions in Syria and Iraq since 2014.On Tuesday, US Defense Secretary Ashton Carter said the Pentagon had not ruled out conducting attacks on the ground against ISIL terrorists. (Sputnik, October 28, 2015)
A No Fly Zone
Another important development pertains to the statement by Defense Secretary Ashton Carter that while “a no fly zone” is not contemplated in the immediate future by the Pentagon, it nonetheless remains an option: “President Barack Obama has not taken the option of a Syrian no-fly zone ‘off the table’”.
Meanwhile, Qatar has announced that it is contemplating sending ground troops to Syria. This statement announced by Doha was in all likelihood formulated in Washington. According Qatar’s Foreign Minister Khalid al-Attiyah, Qatar could intervene military in response to Russia’s intervention in support of the government of Bashar Al Assad. (CNN Arabic (October 21):
“Anything that protects the Syrian people and Syria from partition, we will not spare any effort to carry it out with our Saudi and Turkish brothers, no matter what this is,”
From the outset, Qatar has acted as a US proxy. Together with Saudi Arabia it has contributed to the recruitment, training and financing of Al Qaeda affiliated terrorists inside Syria including ISIS and Al Nusrah.
We are at a dangerous crossroads
International diplomacy has collapsed. US foreign policy makers are ignorant and corrupt, unaware of the implications of their actions.
The US led air raids are being implemented simultaneously with those of Russia.
Stalemate at the UN. The UN Secretary General Ban ki-Moon (appointed by Washington ) supports the US led war under a humanitarian banner.
These various actions and threats by the US led coalition –not to mention the chatter pertaining to a “World War III option” in the corridors of the US Congress– point to a scenario of military escalation, which could potentially lead to direct military confrontation between the US led coalition and the Russian Federation.
Iran is one of the few countries in the world today that’s been fighting the Rothschild’s Banking Hegemony for decades. Up to now, there’s no Rothschild central bank in Iran, and the revolutionary government of Iran have hanged bankers guilty of bank fraud.
So, when an Iranian news agency like Fars News publishes statements from field commanders such as those directly from the ground in Syria, it must be credible. Of course, propaganda plays a huge part in any military strategies but what these specific information coming out right now are mere confirmations of what we already know from other sources in the recent past.
In fact, just by using limited logic and considering the length of US operation to “neutralize ISIS”, we can readily conclude that US forces are not really there to pulverize ISIS. Why would they when they were even purposely leaving behind tanks and ammunitions for the terrorists to “steal” later on. Are the US commanders this stupid?
Up to now we haven’t seen any videos of dead terrorists. Only cinematic beheadings. So, can we trust the US front to feed us the right information?
Can we trust the Iranian media?
They are fighting the same enemy as we are, not just in Syria, but even during the time of Mosadeqh.
So, as far as Covert Geopolitics is concerned, we will continue to form our own analysis based on independent and more reliable sources.
