India Refuses to Join US Naval Patrol vs. China

The United States suffered a major blow in the South China Sea when India refused the US invitation to join its naval patrols in the area.

India has ruled out participating in joint patrols in the South China Sea proposed by the United States. Experts say that India wants to focus on containing Chinese influence in the Indian Ocean and despite a growing strategic partnership, it remains wary of being part of a military alliance with Washington.
The proposal that the navies of Japan, Australia and India could join the U.S. in preserving freedom of navigation in the contested waters of South China Sea was voiced recently by chief of the U.S. Pacific Command, Admiral Harry B. Harris.
But within days, Indian Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar said, “As of now, India has never taken part in any joint patrol; we only do joint exercises. The question of joint patrol does not arise.”

This continuing US provocation against China is in parallel with its desperate efforts to divide the BRICS Alliance though political machinations in Brazil, and with continuing economic sanctions against Russia with the EU.
Mainstream media are proposing so many theories as to why India is assuming a non-provocative stance against China right now. They forgot that India is part of the BRICS Alliance, has benefited more when at peace than being antagonistic against China, and the country has assumed the leadership this year from Russia.
The continuing exposure of the rogue elements within the United States government has further limited its overall geopolitical clout in almost every critical region of the globe.
In Syria, the Russian-US brokered ceasefire is still holding up. While civilians in Raqqa are now rising up against the fleeing terrorists. Those terrorists that are still inside Syria are not only fighting against the Russian-led coalition but also against each other as key leaders are either dead, or have already escaped through the US and Turkey rat lines for future CIA terror operations.

    1. Yeah and still you support Pakistan and not India during the times of war and international politics, what’s to be told of you?

  1. Hello Folks
It is good global news that India, in its memories of Great Brittan as its former coloniser, wont join the one time colonised USA at sea. Historically both Indian and Chinese civilisations have exchanged trade and philosophies.
There is however a bitterness that I detect within many a comment directed at the newly emerging superpowers of Asia, working together. Its as if, Imperial England as ruler of fully one third of the earth, wished to regain its former dominance of global sea trade: the old taste of an Anglo-American superiority still lingers on many a palates.
Least I sound too buoyed by the new geopolitical developments, let me say, unless there is a radical change of heart and mind, in India, China, and Russia, this era, our era of endless wars will continue.

    1. Hello,
I’m from India, as far as my memory goes neither have India or China launched a military campaign on another country’s sovereign territory. And if they have please let me know and I’ll take back what I said.
In all wars in the recent past, it had been the USA which has poked it’s nose where it doesn’t belong, your sovereign territory is 12 nautical miles off the coast of your lands, and exclusive economic zone of 200 nautical miles off your land territory(correct me if I’m wrong).
If you warmongering people keep that in mind and keep your business in your own backyard, you guys will be doing this world a big favour and will end many wars around the world.
It’s not us who should change out heart and mind, it’s the USA and it’s allies of the West. Don’t come blaming us when you are the ones who are supporting many dynastical regimes all around the world and when they stop listening to you, you call them ‘dictators’ and launch a war of freedom.
You support Pakistan, a military rules state against a democratic nation. What more can I say?
Keep your nose away from us you warmongers.

  2. But china’s expansion to the South Chine Sea is bullying many Asia countries such as Vietnam, Philipina, and Indonesia.

  3. India has a background of being Non-Aligned. It favors justice in its ideology. There are other points also. India cannot afford to have aggressive China on its boundaries when it knows that US interests are vested and will not support Indian side in case of war. As each country is trying to milk and juice the other to it core without feeding, everyone remains vary and looks at each other with critical eye. US in its history has been creating useless fellows like O.B. Laden and now the ISIL drama to create situations for its benefit and destructing countries. That’s very clever way of manipulation and expansion. One can laude as well as criticize actions as evil.
India (Bharat – real name) needs to develop and flourish rather than aligning to country specific national interests.
