ISIS Air Force Downs Syrian Warplane in Raqqa, Iran Fires Ballistic Missiles vs. Daesh

The still uninvited US forces recently downed a Syrian warplane which was conducting legitimate operations against Daesh in Raqqa, confirming one more time that the US Air Force has been acting as the ISIS Air Force, since the start of the US invasion by proxy against Syria on March 15, 2011.

Our aircraft was downed at lunch time today near the [Syrian] city of Raqqa, when it was fulfilling its mission against Daesh,” the ministry said in a statement.

The US-led international anti-terrorist coalition confirmed bringing down the Syrian government forces aircraft earlier, adding that the plane had been bombing US-backed opposition forces’ troops.

The coalition claims that it prevented the Syrian forces from advancing to the positions of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) south of Tabqah by shooting down the aircraft.
“At 6:43 p.m., a Syrian regime SU-22 dropped bombs near SDF fighters south of Tabqah and, in accordance with rules of engagement and in collective self-defense of Coalition partnered forces, was immediately shot down by a U.S. F/A-18E Super Hornet,” the statement read.
The Coalition headquarters said it contacted Russian representatives to de-escalate the situation after the attack.

This recent attack by the US against the Syrian Army is the tipping point for Iran to launch several ground-to-ground missiles from Iranian soil, and into the terrorists’ positions in the eastern Syrian province of Deir-ez Zor.

The Revolutionary Guards targeted the bases and headquarters of terrorists that Iran believes to be responsible for the Tehran attacks. The missiles have reportedly killed large numbers of terrorists and inflicted significant material damage, Tasnim said.
The Revolutionary Guards used Zulfiqar solid fuel ballistic missiles, which have an effective range of 700 kilometers, according to Iran’s Fars news agency.

A number of videos purporting to show the moment of the missile launch have emerged online.

The terrorists targeted the Iranian capital on June 7 in a twin attack, with four armed assailants attacking the country’s parliament while a suicide bomber blew himself up at the Imam Khomeini Mausoleum. Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attack, which killed 18 people and injured 50 more.

Only a few days ago, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the high possibility that the Daesh leader Abu Bkr al-Baghdadi, along with his 30 mid-level commanders, died in an airstrike they’ve conducted in the city of Raqqa, the de facto ISIS headquarter.

That is separate from the 180 terrorists eliminated in Deir ez’Zor two days ago.
China, Russia and Iran are also conducting their own joint military exercises along the Strait of Hormuz, and the Baltic Sea, amidst the tension between Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

What all of this indicates is the willingness of the China-Russian-Iran coalition to stand up to the perennial bully, and perpetual extortionist in the region, and to respond in kind whenever the need arises.
