The G7 Summit & Their Global Warfare

The G7 countries are notorious for saying one thing and doing another. So, while they are saying Russia should be joining them in their yearly get together, they are in fact concocting plans to avert the successful implementation of the BRICS anti-imperialist reforms.

Sanctions against Russia will continue. Military air drop support will keep ISIS operations undeterred until they can get hold of chemical weapons. Hamas will provide Israel the necessary motivation to bomb Gaza. Mainstream media have completely sold out to the lies of their own making.
G7 is worse than a cancer. It is not expected to heal on its own.

Leaders at G7 in Bavaria in call to uphold Russia sanctions

The two-day G7 summit has kicked off in Bavaria as its leaders gathered to discuss hot-button issues such as Ukrainian crisis, with some voicing support for tougher Russia sanctions despite the economic difficulties they bring to the EU.
“All of us would prefer to have Russia around the G7 table,” European Council President Donald Tusk said at a luxury Bavarian hotel in Schloss Elmau. “But our group is not only a group [that shares] political or economic interests, but first of all this is a community of values. And that is why Russia is not among us here today.”
He also backed tougher sanctions against Russia, hoping that it would be put in place at the end of this month at a meeting of EU leaders in Brussels.
“If anyone wants to start a discussion about changing the sanctions regime, it could only be about strengthening it,” Tusk said.

Tusk was joined by British Prime Minister David Cameron, who urged EU leaders to stay united on upholding Russia sanctions despite the pain they cause to the bloc.
“[Sanctions have] an impact on all countries in terms of putting sanctions on another country. [But] Britain hasn’t let our preeminence in financial services get in the way of taking a robust response to Russian-backed aggression and I don’t think other countries should either,” Cameron said.
At the summit, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and US President Barack Obama held a tet-a-tet meeting before discussing how much they had enjoyed an al fresco Bavarian meal.
Following the talks the White House issued a statement saying the leaders agreed that the “duration of sanctions should be clearly linked to Russia’s full implementation of the Minsk agreements and respect for Ukraine’s sovereignty.”
Investigative journalist Tony Gosling told RT that it seems Western politicians are being driven by the US into rhetoric about uniting against Russia.
“This is our old Cold War talk, that is really driven by the Americans, and it certainly does not represent the views of European people or business, which is a bit worrying,” he said.

Moscow has called on Western states to urge Kiev to make all efforts to stick to the Minsk agreements. At the UN Security Council meeting on Saturday, Russia’s UN envoy Vitaly Churkin noted that there has been frustration with Kiev’s “flagrant violation and blunt ignorance of the Minsk agreements” among Western states.
Among other issues dominating the G7 talks in Bavaria is the Greek debt crisis. European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker has said that a Greek exit from the euro currency is not an option, but cautioned Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras against distorting proposals by international creditors for a cash-for-reform deal to save Athens from default. The two-day summit is also expected to focus on tackling terrorism and global warming.
The summit has been met with mass demonstrations by anti-capitalist and anti-globalization protests in several Bavarian cities. The protests started ahead of the summit’s launch on Saturday, while thousands of riot police have been deployed to the rally locations. Police have used tear gas against anti-G7 protesters in the town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

‘Sanctions only benefit elite corporate interests’

The real reason the G7 is considering toughening sanctions on Russia may have little to do with the current crisis in Ukraine. Political commentator Caleb Maupin thinks Russia’s emergence as a major player in the international oil and gas markets has prompted big corporations and major financial interests to push politicians to exclude Russia from this year’s summit and ratchet up the pressure.
“It’s a threat to the global hegemony of the big bankers on Wall Street and in London, and they very much want to keep control of the global markets,” Maupin said in an interview with RT. “I don’t think the reason Russia was excluded [from the summit] has anything to do with Ukraine, I think it’s about continuing to put pressure on Russia, continuing to isolate Russia,” he added.
While this policy may serve the interests of US and UK elites, it isn’t to the benefit of most European countries, Maupin went on to say. “Germany and many other countries throughout Europe are basically being forced to work against their own interests in order to help the United States,” he said.
Some government officials in these countries have become fed up with the situation, according to Maupin.
“There are many high ranking government officials who are tired of this. They’re tired of the fact that they have this relationship with the United States that simply doesn’t seem to be to the benefit of their people.”
It is not only Europeans who suffer from the misguided approach to Russia. The working people of the US and the UK, where, despite claims to the contrary, the economies are yet to recover from the Great Recession, also gain nothing from the sanctions on Russia.
“The only people who are benefiting from this campaign of Russophobia and hatred, hatred for Russia; the only people who are benefiting are a small group of wealthy bankers,” said Maupin.

The New World Order of Global Warfare

GRTV interview with Michel Chossudovsky

us warFrom cyberwar to proxy war to covert war, the global long war against humanity threatens to become a full-fledged theatre war and even nuclear war.
Today Michel Chossudovsky joins us to discuss the struggle against this total warfare and the propagandists who enable it.
“The “globalization of war” is a hegemonic project. Major military and covert intelligence operations are being undertaken simultaneously in the Middle East, Eastern Europe, sub-Saharan Africa, Central Asia and the Far East. The U.S. military agenda combines both major theater operations as well as covert actions geared towards destabilizing sovereign state.”

The United States and its allies have launched a military adventure which threatens the future of humanity. U.S. and NATO forces have been deployed in Eastern Europe including Ukraine. U.S. military intervention under a humanitarian mandate is proceeding in sub-Saharan Africa. The U.S. and its allies are threatening China under President Obama’s “Pivot to Asia”.
In turn, military maneuvers are being conducted at Russia’s doorstep which could potentially lead to escalation.
The U.S. airstrikes initiated in September 2014 directed against Iraq and Syria under the pretext of going after the Islamic State are part of a scenario of military escalation extending from North Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean to Central and South Asia.
TRANSCRIPT (Excerpt)
CHOSSUDOVSKY: Now all those things, all those dimensions – the economic, the social, the military dimensions – coalesce and are sustained by an extensive apparatus of media propaganda. I’m referring to the mainstream media, the corporate media, which sustains the lies and ultimately controls what people think.
And this I would say is an inquisitorial environment. It’s much more devastating than the Spanish Inquisition. The Spanish Inquisition was also based on a Big Lie, and it lasted for three or four hundred years. But we are dealing with a media apparatus which turns realities upside down, presents the western quest, and military adventure, as a peace-making undertaking, which lies with regard to the casualties of war, which presents the war criminals as protagonists of human rights, and so on, so forth.
And that, in itself, is the pinnacle of this system. Without the mainstream media, and war propaganda, this New World Order agenda doesn’t have a leg to stand on. In other words, without these media lies, the military agenda, the economic agenda would collapse like a deck of cards. And that is why it is absolutely fundamental that within the realm of independent media, and alternative media, we wage a war against the mainstream media. In other words, it’s a war of ideas. It is an obligation on our part to support the truth, and to use truth, as a means, as a weapon, to undermine the legitimacy of this global economic and military agenda which is destroying humanity.
It is global war, it is total war, and it is destruction. And it has a logic, and it’s part of global capitalism. But at this stage it is not a struggle against socialism, but it is a struggle against national capitalism. In other words, it is the global capitalist elites, mainly Anglo-American, dominated by Wall Street and the city of London, the large financial centers, against competing capitalist powers, which, we might name them: Russia, China – China’s not a communist country, China is a capitalist country, in fact a very advanced capitalist country, and so is Iran.
So that essentially, what this war involves is world domination, it’s the establishment of a global economic and political system whereby countries worldwide would be subordinated to these global corporations, and where national sovereignty under national capitalism would be undermined. And the trade and investment agreements which are being negotiated behind closed doors are part of this agenda. They’re part of this agenda, and in effect they are the end game of this agenda, whereby global corporations undermine and destroy national and regional corporations – in other words, bankruptcy of the entire landscape – and impose a global economic agenda throughout the world.
CORBETT: Well the battle between oligarchs for global control I think is nothing new to human history but the technologies that are available to actually accomplish that goal really does make this a much more important and decisive battle than it has ever been before. So that is exactly, and precisely, why it is so important that in the alternative media we do battle against these forces, and that’s of course what you’re doing at globalresearch.ca. We will direct people once again to your recent book on the Globalization of War, which of course will be linked up in the show notes for this interview as well.
Michel Chossudovsky, I think we’ll have to continue this conversation by looking at various aspects of this global warfare, but we’ll leave it there for today. Thank you very much for joining us on the program.
CHOSSUDOVSKY: Delighted to be on the program
The Globalization of War is undoubtedly one of the most important books on the contemporary global situation produced in recent years.
In his latest masterpiece, Professor Michel Chossudovsky shows how the various conflicts we are witnessing today in Ukraine, Syria, Iraq and Palestine are in fact inter-linked and inter-locked through a single-minded agenda in pursuit of global hegemony helmed by the United States and buttressed by its allies in the West and in other regions of the world.   Dr Chandra Muzaffar, President of the International Movement for a Just World (JUST)
