Palestinian Offensive is Without Precedent in Scale

Iran hails the largest Palestinian military operation against Israel in years as ‘a turning point and a new chapter’ in the continuing resistance against the Zionists.

On Saturday, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kan’ani said that Operation al-Aqsa Storm ‘shows the Palestinian resistance is confidently capable of conducting hybrid and multilateral operations against the occupiers.’

Reports say at least 100 Israelis have been killed and over 900 injured so far, as a result of the surprise Palestinian offensive that was launched on Saturday. The operation combined fighters crossing the fence into Israeli-occupied cities with a heavy barrage of rockets from the besieged Gaza Strip.

Operation al-Aqsa Storm’: Palestinians Capture Israeli Base, Kill Soldiers

Palestinians have launched their biggest operation against Israel in years in a surprise offensive that combined fighters crossing the fence into Israeli-occupied cities with a heavy barrage of rockets from the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian offensive is without precedent in scale and started as Israelis celebrated the last day of the weeklong Sukkot festival.

The Iranian official also extended congratulations to the Palestinian people and all resistance groups over the operation, saying, ‘What happened today is in line with the continuation of the victories of the resistance in the face of the Zionists in various fields, including in Syria, Lebanon, and the occupied territories.’

He stated that the operation once again proved that Israelis are vulnerable in the face of a serious move and lack the spirit to resist. The Iranian diplomat expressed hope that resistance would succeed in achieving more victories in the path towards the liberation of Palestine.

Meanwhile, a top military adviser to Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, said Iran supports the ‘glorious’ Palestinian operation against Israel. Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi said Iran will stand by the Palestinian fighters until the liberation of Palestine and al-Quds.

He expressed confidence that the resistance front would also support the operation. The senior Iranian military official lamented the fact that Israel keeps killing Palestinian children, and he urged the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to take practical measures in that regard.

Meanwhile, people and university students gathered in front of Palestine’s embassy in the Iranian capital, Tehran, on Saturday to celebrate the successful operation of the Palestinian resistance groups in the face of the Israeli regime.
