According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the Pentagon is allegedly engaging in illicit biological research while ostensibly citing ‘public health’ as its justification.
The Russian Defense Ministry has alleged that the United States is using Africa as an experimental site for undisclosed biological weapons projects, claiming they are relocating these projects from Ukraine under the guise of public health initiatives.
Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, who heads the Nuclear, Chemical, and Biological Protection Troops of the Russian Armed Forces, asserted that unauthorized experiments are ongoing in Nigeria and several other African countries as previously reported.
Kirillov stated that this project is being coordinated by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), the National Security Agency (NSA), and the State Department. According to Kirillov, the U.S. argues that its biological projects in Nigeria are intended to combat HIV/AIDS.
He pointed out recent data indicating that 60% of Nigerians with HIV/AIDS have received antiviral therapy from the “Pentagon-affiliated” biopharmaceutical company Gilead Sciences, which, as Kirillov claimed, had previously tested its drugs on Ukrainians.
Nevertheless, Kirillov expressed concerns about the program’s effectiveness. Despite annual funding increases amounting to approximately $100 million, the HIV incidence rate has reportedly remained nearly unchanged, consistent with figures from 2009. Mortality among individuals with HIV has also shown unfavorable trends.
This suggests that “American pharmaceuticals, despite increased consumption in Nigeria, have not had a significant therapeutic impact, and Nigerian citizens are being utilized as a ‘free clinical resource,”’ Kirillov added.
The Russian Defense Ministry has alleged that a three-year agreement signed in August 2022 between the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) and the American non-profit organization RTI International, aimed at monitoring infectious disease threats in Africa’s largest economy, is a component of the Pentagon’s broader “biological espionage” initiatives.
This includes the surveillance of the epidemic situation in areas adjacent to geopolitical adversaries and regions where military deployments are expected, as per the ministry’s statements. Moscow also asserts that it possesses documents verifying the Pentagon’s surveillance of the biological situation in areas bordering China, Turkey, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
In the preceding month, the Russian Defense Ministry claimed that the United States was shifting dual-purpose biological research activities to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sierra Leone, Cameroon, Uganda, and South Africa. This move followed Moscow’s repeated exposure of the Pentagon’s alleged illicit military-biological operations in Europe, including Ukraine, as stated by Kirillov.
For many years, bioresearch experiments have been conducted on every continent to identify the most effective pathogens for population reduction.
The US involvement in illicit military biological research and operations in the African continent is quite alarming if proven true. We don’t want to be mislead into believing that such activities is in the guise of public health but its true intention is to identify effective pathogen for population reduction.
