Donald Trump is showing the world what terror he is capable of inflicting on any country having the courage to stand up against American abuses in their territory. Right after his successful killing of Qassem Soleimani, he warned the Iranians not to retaliate, or the mighty US bombs will rain down on Iran, just like it did to Iraq, some decades ago.
Here’s Trump’s logic about his plan to bomb cultural sites in Iran:
“They’re allowed to kill our people. They’re allowed to torture and maim our people. They’re allowed to use roadside bombs and blow up our people. And we’re not allowed to touch their cultural sites? It doesn’t work that way.”
Trump’s statement on Saturday that the US might fire upon 52 sites that are important to Iran’s people and culture has courted controversy in the US, with many of the Trump administration’s critics noting that Washington would mimic the methods of its declared adversary, Islamic State – which is notorious for damaging and destroying globally-significant cultural sites in Syria and Iraq.

in much the same arrogance, Trump has just recently issued the precondition for the US troops to leave Iraq, after the latter’s parliament passed the resolution to not extend the American presence in the country a day longer.
Iraq, according to Trump, must pay first the billions that were expended for the establishment of the “expensive US military bases” there.
Did some Iraqis invite any boots on Iraqi grounds, to begin with?
Haven’t the US forces invited themselves to Iraq on the pretext of “weapons of mass destruction” that did not exist at all, for purposes of seizing large Iraqi oil deposits?
Now, Trump is asking for payment for their own eviction in Iraq?
“If they do ask us to leave, if we don’t do it in a very friendly basis, we will charge them sanctions like they’ve never seen before ever. It’ll make Iranian sanctions look somewhat tame.”
Has this guy gone crazy?
At the very least, Trump is worse than the Bushes combined. At least, the Bushes know what they were doing, and never denied it. But this incumbent CEO of the White House is not thinking straight anymore. The pride and the ego are taking center stage in all of his decisions just to win at all cost the next election, that includes risking American lives abroad, and at home. This has nothing to do with making America great again.
Make America Great Again, if it’s only possible, that could have made him look so great in the annals of history of the Mighty America, is not happening, especially with China’s unwavering position in the ongoing War of Tariffs. Add to that is Russia’s economic rise, which proves that economic and political sanctions against it are not working.
On the contrary, both attacks on China and Russia have instead solidify and strengthened the bond between the two giants much further. Iran, a common friend of both China and Russia, is now bearing the brunt of Trump’s frustration because of the perception that it is much weaker now that the series sanctions against it has resulted in an estimated loss of $200 billion in revenues.
But killing Soleimani seems to have a different effect on the Iranians than what Trump was hoping, i.e. instead of facilitating the downfall of the Iranian regime, it has united the country even more against everything that America represents. Worse, Iraqis are on it, too, having their own Popular Mobilization Units’ second in command, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, martyred together with Soleimani.
The murder of Soleimani, who played a key role in the fight against CIA-MOSSAD’s trained and funded Islamic State in Syria and Iraq, has drawn outrage across Iran and Iraq of the magnitude never before seen in the Middle East, with Tehran vowing to avenge the assassination to a “cut of a thousand pieces,” calling it “an act of international terrorism.”
Even more devastating for the Trump administration is the leaked information that it was a diplomatic ambush from the very beginning.
Breaking/Confirmed: Soleimani Killed on Diplomatic Mission to Iraq to Receive Trump-Pompeo Missive
No magic intercepts were needed, we now learn from Iraq, to arrange for the assassination of Soleimani. We now learn that the ambush was staged through diplomatic channels, drawing Soleimani to Iraq in order to receive an offer of reduced sanctions from President Trump.
General Qassem Soleimani landed in Iraq to meet with PM Adel Mahdi, who was to be given a message for Iran by President Trump. He was murdered instead, the diplomatic note from Secretary of State Michael Pompeo to the Iranian envoy, Soleimani, was, in fact, an invitation to an ambush.
Soleimani flew from Damascus and was killed as he left the diplomatic check-in at the Baghdad International Airport.
Iraq had been acting as intermediary between Tehran and Washington with General Soleimani acting as diplomatic representative of Iran.
Soleimani had been asked by the Iraqi government to organize and train the forces that defeated ISIS, a process that was continuing as it had been continuing in Syria in partnership with Russia and Turkey, as part of the Astana Coalition.
Pro-Trump pundits are dismissing the event as insignificant saying “nobody cares about Qassem Soleimani.” They’re just laughing at the possibility of debilitating retaliations from the Iranians, at home and abroad. Yet the American experience in Vietnam still fresh in our minds.
These people are so proud as Trump, yet they should understand that the economic edge that the West has over the years comes from the invasion and plunder of militarily inferior countries, including the Philippines and other ASEAN member countries.
That is not something to be proud of.
“… the purposeful actions of a UN member state on eliminating officials of another UN member state, especially on the territory of a third sovereign state without giving it prior notice, blatantly violate the principles of international law and should be condemned.”

Iran now has the option to file war crime charges against the Donald. But it is only good for propaganda. No war criminal from the West has ever entered prison, except the scapegoats in Nazi Germany.
The destruction of cultural sites of a country is meant to erase its identity and its contribution to civilization, at large.
The people behind the Vatican, and by extension, the US government, want to rewrite the history of this planet, according to their own narrative, just to be considered by the next generations as the greatest animal species that ever lived.
Yet, the history of Persia will always survive…
